Casandra Dormeus - NY Posse '23

Casandra (Cassie) Dormeus ‘25 was born and raised in Jamaica, Queens. She is an English Literature major with a minor in Education Studies. On campus, she is one of the ‘24-‘25 Posse Interns, and dances with the Evolution Dance Crew. In her free time she enjoys watching TV, online shopping, reading books & sitting by bodies of water. She believes that education is a tool of empowerment & consistently strives to identify areas for the centering of Black joy in educational spaces.
